Kodak Vigilant
(1939-1949) The Kodak Vigilant was a medium format camera that featured various Kodak Anastigmat lenses (F/4.5 105mm, F/6.3 105mm, F/8.8 100mm), with the top model using the f/4.5-32 101mm Anastigmat Special lens in a Kodak Supermatic shutter. The camera shared a body with the Kodak Monitor series but had a simplified top and manual film advance. It used 620 film to produce 2¼×3¼ inch images, with some models also available for 616 film (2½×4¼ inch images). The Vigilant Junior had simpler lenses and lacked a body-mounted shutter release.
