Kodak Bullet

(1936-1942) The Kodak Bullet exemplifies Art Deco design and was part of a series designed by Walter Dorwin Teague, which also includes the Kodak Baby Brownie and Kodak Bantam Special. Its simple design features a retractable helicoid lens barrel, a basic meniscus lens, and a shutter release lever. The camera’s back is removed to change the film, and there are two versions: one with a decorative sliding catch and one without.

A collector’s note:

A special edition marked "New York World's Fair" was produced in 1939.
